An immersive painting workshop set within the peaceful surroundings of Duchy Nursery Lostwithiel, in the heart of the Fowey Valley.
This three-hour workshop offers gentle, expert guidance in the basics of watercolour and ink painting, encouraging a relaxed approach and the development of your own expressive style.
Inspired by the quiet beauty of winter, we will work with a collection of natural treasures gathered from the estuary and shoreline, mudlarking finds, seaweeds, shells and the unexpected treasures brought in on the tide. These beautiful, weathered forms will become our inspiration as we explore shape, texture, and expressive mark-making.
Our focus will be on slowing down and taking time for observation, with gentle guidance and tips to create a natural flow to your brushwork and develop your own individual style.
Calm and informative, this is a chance to pause, reconnect with nature and enjoy a little creative time for yourself, accompanied by homemade cakes and speciality teas and coffees.
You will leave with a finished winter-inspired painting, ready to frame, along with everything you need to continue your own watercolour journey.
